Email and mailboxes

Manage support mailboxes

Connect, review, and maintain the support addresses that turn customer email into QuickDesk tickets.

Keep addresses recognisable

Add addresses customers already use for support and label them consistently. Each connected address has its own forwarding and sending configuration.

Check connection state

Review forwarding, DNS, and test controls for every mailbox. A mailbox can receive successfully before its sending domain is fully verified.

Rename or remove a mailbox

Each mailbox has a menu behind the three dots. Rename changes the team name or the public address; moving to a different domain starts that domain's setup steps again and replies send from the shared QuickDesk address until they pass. Remove takes the mailbox off the desk: email already on the desk stays, replies on old tickets still work, and the website it handled can take another address. Mail still forwarded to the old QuickDesk address keeps arriving until you stop the forwarding at your email provider.

Test after changes

Whenever the provider, forwarding rule, or DNS changes, send a new inbound message and a reply. See Email delivery troubleshooting if either direction fails.
