Team, workspace and integrations

Invite and manage team members

Add agents and admins, keep seat usage visible, and remove access promptly when responsibilities change.

Choose the right role

Add each person with the least access they need. Owners and authorised admins can compare role permissions before creating the account.

Share first access securely

QuickDesk may show a temporary password once. Send it through an appropriate private channel and ask the member to replace it after signing in.

Choose who gets offline message emails

When a visitor leaves a message while your team is offline, QuickDesk sends one email. It goes to the person with Email alerts ticked on the Team page, which starts out as whoever created the workspace. Tick Email alerts beside anyone else who should get their own copy, and untick it again to stop theirs. Someone invited to the team does not get these emails until you tick the box for them, so the number of emails only grows when you choose to grow it.

Assignment emails work the same way. Tick Assignment emails beside a teammate and they get one email each time somebody else assigns a ticket to them, with a link straight to it. Claiming a ticket yourself never sends one, and a ticket you already have open shows an Assigned to you line at the top instead. The box starts unticked for everyone.

Review membership

Remove people who no longer need access and watch plan seat usage. Do not share one member account between several people because ownership and audit context become unclear.
